Carlos Novoa S.

Filmmaker, specialized in Direction of Photography and Executive Producer at Universidad de Valparaíso, Chile.

 

Born in the city of Talca (Región del Maule, Chile), settles at an early age in Purranque (Región de Los Lagos, Chile). Currently traveling between the city of Valparaiso and Santiago de Chile.

 

Displacements that defines imagineries, territories and human textures; connected by railways and stations into disuse time; the essences of vines and rough  mountains, the dew damp of the orchard and people of village, and the mist rising over the hills of the port, conditioning singular traces of subsistence.

 

He has done creative and technical work at fiction area; from Cinematographer, Cameraman, Camera Assistance, Electrical to Production department. In the area of documentary, has been involved in projects of Filmmaker, Cameraman and Editor.
